The Duty Rota
You can download a pdf of the duty rota. Remember it is a condition of your membership that you carry out your allocated duty. If you have other commitments then it is your responsibility to arrange a swap (the forum is a good way to do this), but please also inform Barrie Jones of any switches.
If you are uncertain about what is required of your duty then please come to an earlier event and double up with the designated race officer or patrol boat operator. Training for the patrol boat or race operator is also available at the Splash. Please check the handbook for more details.
You can also download notes on the patrol boat duty and the race officer duty. Remember, at all times the decision to race remains with the competitors, but the Race Officer and Patrol boat operator can pospone or cancel a race or find an experienced sailor to help man the patrol boat. Please check the handbook for more information.
