Another fantastic day at the club, despite unpromising conditions in the early morning.

Yorkshire Water Trophy and Family Day

posted 8 Sep 2016, 08:50 by Craven Sailing

September saw the annual Yorkshire Water Trophy in the morning followed by fun and games out on the water in the afternoon (after consuming enormous quantities of cake kindly provided by members.

The picture (right) shows the latest boat to appear at the club as Eloise puts her Byte through its paces.

The Yorkshire Water Trophy was won by David Mawdsley.

The annual Aquidditch match (you have to be there to understand) was won by team 'Pop and Candy' with further awards for games of Cannon Balls, Backward sailing and assorted silliness.

A great time was had by all until a rain storm of epic proportions encouraged people off the water.

Friday Night Sailing

Members get the weekend off to a good start with a bit of evening sailing. The Patrol boat is on the water and there is help and advice on hand from more experienced members. We have a good mix of ages taking part and tend to round off the evenings with a shared supper.
