Boats may be booked by Members using Book a Boat/Time. There is no charge for using club boats.

The Club has seventeen  craft available for booking by members.

RS Teras

Three RS Teras - single sailed dinghies ideal for our younger sailors - ideal for 2 lightweight people or for single-handed sailing. Members wishing to use one of these boats for use at an RYA organised event, a Yorkshire and Humberside Youth Sailing Association event or another racing event should make a written application to the club committee at least one month prior to the required date for consideration.

RS Pico

One Pico which is an intermediate boat between the Tera and the Feva. It is suitable for either one or two crew.

RS Fevas

Two  Fevas, one complete with asymmetric. Ideal for teenagers, adult and child or couples. The Tera's 'bigger brother' this is  the next step up in experience. 

RS Vision

One RS Vision - a boat designed for up to 3 adults. The main sail can be reefed (reduced in size) to slow the boat down, or for experienced sailors the asymmetric spinnaker can make life more interesting.

Laser

One Laser with either a full sail, a smaller Radial sail or a n M sail for the inexperienced or lighter sailor.

Two Double Kayaks, Two Single Kayaks, Two Windsurfers and Three Stand-up Paccleboards.

These are kept locked but please don't let this put you off using them! Keys to unlock them and accessories for use with these are kept safely in the clubhouse. Please speak to a committee member for their locations.

To use the sailing boats:

1. You should be able to rig them yourself, but if you feel you require assistance contact us via email or come along to one of the Friday Night sessions.

2. You will need to provide and wear buoyancy aids.

3. Please take particular care to both tie down and lock down boats after use.

There is no charge to use the boats for club members - all we ask is you look after them, and if there are any problems let us know promptly so we can carry out repairs.
